Between this and the "Everyday People" commercials that Toyota had in the late 90's, is sad how much commercials lack in creativity and staying power. Were there bad commercials back then? Without a doubt but I would argue that the number of memorable (and thus effective) commercials were higher back then than they are today. The marketing creatives of today should study some of these amazing campaigns to learn a thing or two.
